The Soccer Veterans Association of Maldives (SVAM) was formed in 2008, and has since been making remarkable progress through successful events held both locally and internationally. Therefore, it is our motivation and vision to ensure that Maldivian footballers who have performed professionally during the past must be acknowledged and not be overlooked in the modern football arena. We also believe in core principles of this vision, which is to maintain their overall health status and prosperity as well as contributing to Maldivian football.

In pursuit of this mission, (SVAM) has also envisioned to contribute to the society at large and the development of Maldivian football by empowering children at the grass root level by driving interest in them to play football. 

Our annual Football tournaments have emerged as a vital part of our mission, offering children an invaluable opportunity to not only revel in the joy of the game but also to acquire essential life skills along the way. To further nurture the talent of young athletes, we organize two inter-school tournaments annually for grades 1 to 4, along with four exciting tournaments for football academies nationwide. Through these efforts, we continue to empower the next generation and cultivate a vibrant football community.

We are proud to say that most of the SVAM's endeavors during the past years would not have been achieved without the utmost effort and hard work instilled by the association itself, and also benefiting from the support and help we have been receiving from other esteemed organizations/sponsors.
